For anyone who hasn't already spotted this one on eBay, and with the recent postings about getting hold of a SidKit check this one out.

item: 110329072950

Looks very interesting and a very nice build. Perhaps one of our members? It's also in the UK for those UK members among us who are now restricted by the UK replica laws.

Check out their other auctions. They have an accurate binding post, so they probably at least read this forum (or maybe the RPF).

I am watching it to get a idea on the final dollar value.

Are you sure that's a real post?

I suspect it got pulled because it didn't have an orange plug in the barrel.

I think it's interesting that E-Bay let's HollyWood Collectibles list their Fifth Element Blasters without the orange plug but not so with a BR Blaster...what's the deal?

Which 5th Element blaster? the police blaster doesn't look all that much like a real gun to begin with, the Korben blaster a bit more tho.

eBay is funny like that tho.

I sold my Offworld MFG blaster without an orange plug.

But I've seen them yank other Offworld auctions even when it had a plug. I think it just depends on who reviews the auction and if they want to be an eBay anus or not..

I was talking to the person selling the gun prior to eBay pulling it.

I had a v4.5 Coyle that got pulled by eBay and was threatened that if I tried to list anything of this nature again I would have my account closed.

The silly thing was that there was another one running at the same time that went the distance.

It wouldn't be unlikely for the person putting up ther other auction to report yours to take away the competition. Wording can also make all the difference. Make sure "Toy", "Sci-Fi", "movie prop" are used as much as possible in your text. The orange plug also helps. You can make one pretty cheaply out of PlayDough or Sculpy.

I just emailed the seller again and he has decided to try and sell it again without eBay. If anyone here is interested, he is in the UK and his email address is max51590@hotmail.com

He would rather sell it within the UK, if possible, so this is a good opportunity for anyone like me in UK who wants a good replica.

He told me a couple of interesting stories from someone he knows who worked on BR as a prop maker. Sounded beleivable anyway.

That's funny, someone else on this board said they already bought this blaster from the ebay guy.

I offered him 500 for it but I didn't think I would really get it for that. He contacted me saying I was the only bid after it came down, but hasn't contacted me again.

I am pretty sure someone else got it -- someone who was considering my Coyle but really wanted the SidKit.
