Hi there,
New to these boards, but a life-long fan (and I've got my fair share of years behind me).
Just wanted to say a quick "Hi" right up front, maybe in an effort to make peace with you all - in advance - before I start getting on your nerves over the next few weeks asking questions that have maybe been asked and answered a dozen (or more) times before.
Also wanted to throw in this link to a jacket I found on a site for a Clothing Company called "solis company"...
While not everything there might be to the tastes of some... there's no denying that this jacket could EASILY have hung on Gaff's Coatrack.

All the Best,
Mitch

Hey Mitch, welcome to the board from a fellow canuck from Ottawa (previously Brussels, Belgium in another life).

New to the whole forum bit, but came upone this post and thought that the conversation was interesting. Was thinking about a jacket I saw on Luello.com, it's an affliction jacket, and I think he would've looked more like a tough guy, more intimidating had he worn a jacket like this...

I am always searching vintage and thrift shops for BR costume apparel, and have found the closest trench coats that match his tend to be women's coats (all too small for me). I have seen a civil war men's coat though that is grey with the black collars. I do have a vintage black leather German military trench that is very similar to the Coat linked at top that I wore for my Gaff costume on Halloween.

Does a set of blue contacts appear out of nowhere and then vanish every time you put the costume on Very Happy

Was actually thinking about getting the colored contacts, and looked at some pretty good deals, but in the end passed for a one day costume. Maybe if I decide to do it again sometime.
