| Im number seven on the list for the Helmet, and Im going to get a Kane suit...does anyone have any idea about the timeframe for development? I am definitely not expecting the suits to be done overnight thats for sure, but the suit will be the greatest prop over produced. |

I really don't know JT, they've been so busy on this project for the last months... and now Danita is at work on her FIRST complete suit... I guess everything will be faster once they'll have completed a few suits, this to say I don't expect my Dallas smooth parts before September or October, who knows ?
Wait until Steve or Richie come wisit us again, THEY will provide valid info about the delivery...
One thing is for sure, this suit will be the central piece of my collection, love it since I first saw the film in 1979 !!!

Don't know why but I've always thought Kane was wearing a british tricentenial patch on his EVA suit (maybe it's because it's so obvious he's a brit when you ear him talk)...
But I've found this photo recently in the ALIEN quadrilogy DVDs... Look at his rear pocket, there's an american tricentenial patch here ! (so, it's now official : all 3 eva suits have american tricentenial patches on their rear pockets)

Okay. Danita is currently working on the first suit. This will allow her to figure out the best way to put one together. Like the helmet. The first always takes the longest.
So be patient. I would rather not rush her. She is the type of person who takes pride in her work and she won't put out anything if she doesn't think it is up to par. With that said I know we all will be very pleased.

Here are the only pics detailing the back I've found so far in my files... and you know what ? This time Kane has a British tricentenial patch on his rear left pocket !!!
So I guess they had at least 2 soft suits for each actor and what we have here is a continuity error very similar to the Dallas shirt case (his wings are gold but he can be seen wearing a shirt with blue wings instead in a scene).
Hope it"ll help Danita... (I'll try to provide some screencaps too)

Maybe John Hurt was wearing the same suit, and the patches were stuck on with velcro or something? 
Or maybe Kane had one American parent, and one British parent, and couldn't decide which team to support so he just swapped the patches whenever he felt like it on a whim?  |

I know this suit is going to be incredible, I can wait as long as it takes on this one, just as long as I am on the list (dont forget, hint..hint) The Kane suit is the one I like the best, Kane was kind of an interesting character..what we got to see of him. But My favorite thing is the Tri-Union Jack Logo, that is really cool.... I cannot wait to get my helmet, I jealous already Phase Pistol and Skinjob66 can sit and stare at theirs any time they want. The whole thing together will be an incredible sight to see!!!!
Its great being grown up now, all those things I dreamed about as a kid, I can have now...The only thing I dont think I will manage is a Colonial Viper sitting in my back yard with the engines steaming and the canopy up ready for a drive  |
