Alot of Sids posts are missing the images due to his site going down. can anyone post any images they might have saved regarding his WC development as well as anything else he had linked to his site? might be good to get some sort of archive up and going Cool

Last Updated 11/7/09: This thread is now likely to be the most complete archive of Sidkit images and kit instructions consolidated in one place currently on the web. Thank you to all who took the time to photograph and archive Siderio's creations and share them with the rest of the world.

This image archive is a tribute to Siderio's legacy working with props and to his (now closed) Sidkit.com website that many of us were fond of.
Please feel free to post any of your Sidkit-related items in this thread.

Dedicated to the memory of Siderio Germaino, founder of Sidkit - RIP.

Beast, if you use this...

you can see how websites looked months ago, maybe even years.

Hopefully it'll help Smile

Sidkit Malcolm Reynolds All-Metal Serenity Pistol:

These are very rare as only 50 kits were ever made.

They were only offered for sale to Sidkit customers who had already purchased the Sidkit Malcolm Reynolds All-Metal Firefly Pistol.

A side note - QMX came out with their Serenity Metal Mal Prototype around the same time and displayed identical photographs of their kit build-up, leading to well-justified speculation that Sidkit and QMX were working together.

From http://www.fireflyprops.net/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=93&start=55 (Joatrash's build-up modded with self-made wood grips)

From http://fireflyprops.net/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=340 (Same build-up by Joatrash, other side)

From http://fireflyprops.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=238&start=1 (thanks Keelhauler)
