Well after 3 weeks of making a new stock and grips for my hartfort snubby and aquiring the extra full length barrel and upper receiver from the den trinity site I was feeling well chuffed. I thought since there was no chance of getting a full size hartford or the bits I needed from zospec armoury, modding a snubby was the only way forward! I was happy. Then all of a sudden TWO hartfords appear on eBay and I just couldn't help myself! I paid over the odds ($900), but I really don't regret it! I've been after one for ages! I will b repainting it with testors buffable metalcote and pics to follow! Also as a result of this I'm gonna try getting my scratch built stock cast in aluminium and if they work well shall be happy to sell them. Watch this space |

Well, 'ouch' maybe but there comes a time when you really want what you want.
It seems as if that time has come for you - right now..!
Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing what magic you produce.! _________________

ouch it may have been, especially after paying $180 import duty + VAT! but do you know what? WORTH EVERY PENNY! it might not be screen accurate, it might have a plastic receiver, it might not be a tomenosuke but it feels like a real gun in your hand. i held a s&w magnum 44 when i was in vegas and i really dont remember it feeling any heavier when i was firing it.
love it! now i have 2 snubs from them and a full size, one snub is gonna undergo some worldcon treatment. watch this space. i got 3 blaster mods on the go atm and all r going well |

Ouch !! is definitely the word, I personally bid for the Hartford as well, as I wanted one for my collection - still do , so I still dream!
I wish you well with all your conversions and if I can be of any help feel free to contact me, I have over 30 years of restoring and building props, costumes and models behind me . |

Much appreciated mate propmaking was something I dreamt of doing as a nipper, ended up as a professional miniature designer/ sculptor for games workshop so we should totally do some cross referencing of techniques and such. Guidance and wisdom is a priceless thing! Expect to be hearing from me! thanks again |
