This project started when i completed the headgear, i wasnt planning on doing the rest but after following
up on some of the research of other members, found that it was worth a try and slowly but surely have accumulated
many of the original parts used in the overall street cops costume design.

The main parts came from a sinisalo motocross protective vest which also provided the two side pieces
for the headgear as used in the original.
The hat was an ex-US Mail hat that was covered with a thin leather like material and a large, painted resin
police badge attached.
The basket weave police belt and accessories were a great find and look 100% screen accurate.
The calculator is a Casio ML-71 and the watch is a Casio C-80, both are the same ones attatched to
the left gauntlet on the original.
The metal Force Badges are a result of eltees excellent work and are also 100% accurate and the patches,
well you know about the patches and the gloves are very close to the originals at a good price.

All these items except the metal badges and the patches were obtained off ebay and were pretty cheap.

What needs to be completed now is for the protective vest to be recovered and the panels painted and the under
jacket and pants made, this part may take a while and also have to find suitable boots and make a police baton as i cant find
one anywhere. Also finding a cheap mannequin to display
it on is also proving a difficult task.

Many thanks to Andy for a power of work he has done on the street cop costumes, I know he and Fred are working on their
own versions so hopefully this will get them to show us were their at with them.
Very Happy

EDIT.......Title change, finally adopted the term Patrolman.

Mine is quite a bit further behind yours at this point. I did pick up a basket weave police holster for a 45 auto that when I cut apart is able to fit one of the guns...barely.

I am still looking for an accurate face shield and skull cap. I had hoped to get back in touch with Blad about the badges too, but he has disappeared completely. I really hope he is okay. I know he had talked about moving IIRC. Hopefully he will be able to find his way back here, or we will have to do it ourselves.

Thanks Neil !

Well, I'm working on this for a year now... that's what was needed to find all those elements in order to give it a go, at least on the chest armor and undercap ! (still have to find the right cap and gloves... and I don't talk about the face shield !)

I'm tempted to give the head gear ago.
Paulson bubble goggles with the right hat would look awesome.

You're right Fred; you and Tim are probably shopping at the same rubber furniture store to decorate your rubber room Laughing
