WHAT GREAT PIECE OF ASTRONAUTIC HARDWARE YOU GOT HERE !!!

As time passes by, you've really turned those old molds into YOUR version of this Nostromo kit... all the improvements you made have turned those old parts into something really special, bravo JT for all your hard work !!!

Fred

Hello, I'm very interested in this Nostromo and think you have done an awesome job on the restoration of the molds. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your progress and hopefully bringing one of these babies home with me for building!

Thanks

First Edit: Oh, and by the way, I never would have known that the Narcissus was situated on one of the "wings" and not in the center of the belly of the Nostromo! Just reading through page one, and already learned a lot!!!

Second Edit: I really think I must have one of these! How many hours of my life should I set aside for this project?

Alright! I've made my way through the entire thread now, and you certainly have a lot of great information here and we can all tell your heart and soul are invested in the Nostromo. Then you spring an upcoming Derelict at me? There goes my collecting budget. Shocked

Count me in for a Nostromo! How long is the wait list?

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! I'm an Andy too, well Andrew really, but...

I'm really too excited about the prospect of getting to assemble a Nostromo. Can't wait to get started!

You will not find anywhere else such hardcore fans of the original Alien as you will here... You will find the most astonishing props here...Like stephen210 and Skinjob66's stuff just two quick examples.......just awesome!

this is really the only place to be for original ALIEN stuff...my favorite place!

JTP, here's the part of the Nostromo docking module you emailed me about. There aren't many detailed photos of this area but what's clear is that the Halcyon kit isn't quite correct here at the part labeled 'A'...

Don't reply just yet, I'm still editing this post

OK, very cool... I see now you have it correct, I have it wrong. (on the nostromo discussion thread) I think you are right... this should be straight...... this is looking fantastic. I will make the changes to the "ridge" on my master,.. actually, my mistake.. yours is about dead on in anycase. I was just lacking the angle of the "ridge" with the piping... great work Space Jockey!

Hang on a sec... I'll try to post some pics. Unfortunately there are none with a top view, plus I just found a couple of more pipes after watching a scene from the movie...

Okay here's some. It's tricky to make out. I'm only about 25% through with detailing on the module... these pics are about all I've got. Last pic are the other pipes I just noticed.
