Sideshow Collectibles and Lucasfilm present this dynamic depiction of Jedi Master Yoda and Count Dooku as they battle over the fate of the young Jedi Knights. The Duel with Dooku diorama is expertly sculpted in approximately 1:9 scale, standing over 10 inches tall.

Diplomatic Mission Diorama . Aboard the Tantive. The detailed sculpture captures moment of evil in which Darth Vader exerts his dark power on the loyal Captain Antilles

The Premium Format 1:4 Scale Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper figure is akin to the stop motion maquettes used in the making of the famous chase sequence in Return of the Jedi.

It was posted in "Non-Blade Runner Props" section, but these aren't props either. I may move it into the prop shop since it seems to be a sales ad.
I think the funny thing is that most of us are here to get away from the glut of Star Wars chotchky's, and fans.

To my mind, this is spam. _________________ "Your old titles mean nothing here... Captain!"

That must be why I keep thinking about Monty Python skits "Spam spam spam eggs and spam"
At least it isn't a porn site. I give them credit for at least trying to be on topic. Most prop sites are filled with SW collectors.

Agreed. At least they targeted a site where they had a reasonable expectation of a market (which is to say, a prop-related site, the gap between SW and BR notwithstanding).
The determining factor for me was the absence of any sort of salutation, self-introduction, or expression of interest in this site.
I do not like green eggs and spam. _________________ "Your old titles mean nothing here... Captain!" |

Possibly, but I agree that it's unlikely. If they do come back, I'd guess it will be weeks or months down the line, and perhaps with a new username, since it would be easier simply to sign up again than to keep records of the usernames and passwords used to spam different sites.
Let's hope next time the ad is for something BR-related. _________________ "Your old titles mean nothing here... Captain!" |

I had talked to somebody at Sideshow many years ago about getting some Blade Runner stuff, and they told me that they had been trying, but the license is too expensive and their licensed properties would not be happy if they had non-licensed stuff, including the Android Hunter figures.
I heard that some prototypes for some BR figures had been sculpted and shown to both the BR partnership and Warner Bros. That may have just been a rumour though. I even heard Dark horse had made a sequel comic (originally for fun perhaps), but it was never published because of issues with the BR partnership.
We can still daydream though
