Hello Gents.

I'm new here and like to share something interesting. I bought a OW Blaster about half a yr ago, very nice for the price! ($200) But to make thing short, I got an email from them regarding a new product. Here's what it is.

Dear Value Customer,
We at Off-World Inc. would like to inform you of our latest product. This is the replacement piece for our M2019 Blaster. This come with more accurate markings and it will be available for June delivery.
There is only 250 unit made. Price per unit is $59.99, we are taking pre-order now at offworldmfg@yahoo.com. First 50 customers get FREE SHIPPING! Don't miss out on this product.

Thank You
Off-World Inc.

Look pretty good, I went to the link. It's the upper slide that goes over their blaster with steyr logo and 5223 engraving over it. not the OW logo and made "OFF WORLD". Thinking of picking one up to replace mine. Let me know what you guys think.

Hi and welcome Surefire88, I would think its a must for any offworld owner, dont have an offworld myself but might get the part for a cheap pdk recast i have. Is the original offworld part easy to remove?
Thats the real question for you perhaps.

.....I got the email last night and am an "early bird" getting one postage free.....the "Offworld" was my FIRST blaster and has sentimental value to me as well.....that being said it will be much improved by the upgrade....I might be willing to take it out of the holster I currently have it in....(smiling)....now....

Thanks offworld66, I have taken it apart (scary at first) and the upper piece is very easy remove. I've already email them for one. So hope now just waiting for it to come in June.

Welcome surefire.

This looks pretty cool. I now have two Offworld guns and one is taken apart. I have taken them both apart several times. There is a chance of stripping the screws so you have to be pretty careful with them. Keeping the screws in order too can be tricky. Otherwise I found it pretty easy.

The Part on the original Offworld is also metal, it just has the fantasy markings which I kind of like. It will not fit a Sidkit, because it is based off of a smaller gun inside and arranged differently to make up for that. You would have to cut down the Bulldog to make it fit, and modify both parts.

Thanks for the welcome joberg. It's great to be here.

Andy, you are correct. The sidkit is much bigger than the offworld one. I don't own a sidkit but I have compared it with a friend of mind who has one. Too troublesome to mods.

Not sure why the image link isn't working except that it might be too large.

Click on the address here to open it in a new window...

It looks like they are continuing to use the god awful metal flake paint. I guess they wanted to keep it similar to the original.

Supposedly they are coming out with other upgrade parts as well. I did order one of these too. I am having second thoughts about ordering anything else from them if it is true they have recast from matsuo. Even though they told me they are under new management, they need to remove or redo those product lines.

Recieved email today to say mine was being shipped. Looking forward to soda blasting it and bluing it.
Guess I picked the right time to do a rebuild. Very Happy

Andy, what other parts are they upgrading?
All my questions to them seem to fall on deaf ears unless a paypal payment is made. Razz

They wouldn't tell me, but I suggested the Buttplate, Gripframe, trigger guard, and bolt end cap.

Yes, their communication sucks, and I will be unlikely to buy from them until they are more willing to communicate with us. They need to communicate with the fans if they want our support and money.

Yep, that's customer service 101 Andy. I've seen over the years the same type of reaction from (put your company name here) and unless you put a down payment, you'll receive zero answer to your questions Mad

These guys are not sticklers for detail at all IMHO. Notice the radius'd ejection port.

Hmm.. the image is a bit large. Any way I can paste it on the page with out opening a new page?

The new receiver has a lighter tone compare to the original. But its one step closer to the original blaster prop. Unless some one want to do a cnc run and make it super acurrate! I'll sign up for it! Very Happy

I did ask them about the possibility of a metal bolt and end cap, I can still hear the crickets churping.....

I decided to make my own gripframe, trigger guard and butt out of alloy
but thats another post......

I recently got an email from Andrew Tran of Offworld manufacturing saying he split with his partner that made the Colonial Blasters and many of the other guns and is hoping to make the Offworld Blade Runner blaster much better, and we can contact him and others at the company through offworldmfg@yahoo.com to get any questions answered.
