Ok guys,

Sorry for the long absence. Lot's going on.

The models I was working acquire have fallen off the face of the earth apparently. They seemed interested and then they disappeared.

Here's the good news. As of yesterday I am about 99% sure that my best friend and myself have managed to receive ownership of a 3D printer.

So, that being said, I think any of us with 3d skills need to step up and figure out what pieces we may be able to create in our spare time. I can then make prototypes on the printer that we can mold and use for casting.

I'm getting pretty good in zBrush and was considering doing some of the more organic pieces.

Anyway, that's where things stand at the moment. I'm still working on acquiring those great models, but it's proving futile at the moment so I may move onto trying to produce them myself.

Cheers all!

technocoy.

3D printer can be very expensive...depending on the model and the technology...some are awsome ($$$) and some...well, you know what I mean.
If you want to see one in action go to www.thinglab.co.uk or on youtube where their Z450 is showing some nasty work Shocked

Yeah, I've been dealing with printers/pototypers for some time now.

This one is a bit older. It's the predecessor to the 510, basically the same with a smaller build size. It's not my number one choice for surface resolution, but hey, it's free.

I'll fill you all in once I figure a few things out.
