Staar, You have outdone yourself again. That is pure awesome. I also love how so many paintings of Deckard's Gun show a Rick Ross PKD. Even some of Drew Struzan's sketches showed he used a PKD for the model Very Happy

Great work.

Cheers everyone! I'm delighted you feel its worthy of a place on this forum..

Andy, as usual you are the pro regarding the detail. Rick's PKD holds a special place for me and this is why I felt even more convinced that while its not accurate, it is as part of the franchise as the real thing. Besides that, its really the only decent reference I had when I started this and I wanted the weapon to jump out of the page.

I included Leon's iconic photo boarder so that the frame was 100% BR. The worldcon blaster number was also included because in addition to being a nod - of thanks - to Karl T, I liked the fact that it could be used in a way that looked like a 'futuristic' photograph stamp but at the same time recognizing the original blaster...

Thanks again all, if you have any questions feel free to PM me..

PS if anyone knows how to get in contact with Rick, please let him know that his work is admired and celebrated in this piece

cheers!

I sent Rick an email and link to this thread. I am sure he will be thrilled to see it.
