Good news, im 3/5ths of of the way through cutting the flutes on the body. I may be done with the remainder tomorrow. Then on to the mounting holes.

I also talked to the CNC shop and we are good to go for the knerling. I should se a test here shortly and send the full run to him next week or so.

I havent started the signup list yet. I want to get them all machined first. Smile That being said they are moving along. I just marked out all the mounting holes tonight. The should be drilled out and tapped monday. Im wanting to get them set off to be knerled this week. Oh and its a run of 50 so i hope there will be enough for everyone.

20 of the 50 drilled and waiting to be tapped. The other 30 should happen in the next couple days.

Tell me about it. This work thing can really get in the way of fun.
And thats part of the reason I wanted to hold off on the sign up list till they are all done and ready to go.

All the mounting holes have been drilled and they will be tapped tonight. I need to polish them all out and I hope they will be off to be knerled end of week.

'Bated, old English abbreviation for 'Abated', meaning stopped or halted.

We hold our breath in anticipation. I do anyway....
