| Hi just came across this website whilst searching for replica patches. Its great, i can't believe all the stuff thats on here. I would like a replica of the bladerunner blaster anyone know where i can get one from? Also this may sound sad but that droning effect they use in Dekards appartment, its been used in Alien and Star Wars to name a few. Anyone know where i can get hold of this sound effect? |

Welcome aboard Bodie.
You've come to the right place. 
There are a few blasters being made at the moment, Richard Coyle is currently making them and so is Offworld Mfg.
Also, there are some times blasters for sale on the Bay (watch out for poor copies though)
I'm sure someone else will chime in with more information than i can provide but i hope it's at least a start.

...welcome...the only advice I would presume to offer is that if you can find the time to go though the threads here (an astonishing history that would make for an interesting and informative book)...you will find the answers to more questions than you could possibly ask....(smiling)...the charm of the members here are that they (and most certainly I) experienced what you have and will experience....ask and you shall receive...information is passed freely and openly here and I don't think there is a better forum on the internet....for all things Bladerunner this is the place...one man's opinion....

Welcome Bodie, any relation to Vaughn Bodie?
I can only say is check in here regularly on the guns. I would also read as much as you can on them before you decide to buy one to figure out exactly what you want and need, because they are all different.
As far as the sound effect I would look into the Blade Runner Soundtrack group on Yahoo. BladeZone may still have have downloadable sounds too.
