I can tell you that the Hartford shells I have used, and the MGC shells I've used in some other PFC auto guns do end up showing tiny dents and minor impacts from the PFC hammers. Nothing like the deep dimple you get on a real primer.
Truth be told the thought never crossed my mind to try this, but I can fire one of the 38 cal PFC cartridges in my ruger GP100 and see how it treats the shell.
I don't think it will destroy it. I'll take some shots later on and post them up.
Not like I'm going anywhere in this weather.

Check out the Taurus Revolver web site look at the gun called the Judge. It is IMHO the closest we will ever come to a real Blade Runner Pistol minus all the clugging of the the movie type _________________ James Campbell
