I think the other thing that might determine your price range is features. Are you looking for a static display piece with no moving parts? Or something with more features that can casually be handled without fear of breakage?

These are all factors in making the right purchase. Tho, nobody I know on here ever stopped at just one..

I think you can get a rick ross doppelganger blaster for around the $80-$90 mark, sometimes a little cheaper. It is resin with LED lights and moving trigger( although if you do get one of these be careful of the trigger as they sometimes snap off)But its a nice mid range blaster. Sometimes they come up on ebay. Very Happy

That sounds great (other than the trigger part) but that can be replaced or fixed, right?

I've got one of Rick's old PKD-1 blasters, and as long as you make sure the fit on the triggers isn't too tight, they're plenty sturdy. The spring's strong enough to return the trigger to its start position, but not so strong that it stresses the trigger when pulled.

If the fit of the trigger is a bit too tight, you can always put the trigger down flat on some sand paper and sand it down a bit so it moves more easily.

Welcome Reaper593.

I just want to warn you I started off asking the same question you are now about 10+ years ago, and now own over 20 different guns. None of them ever really ended up fitting that criteria.

I would also recommend Rick Ross kits if you can find them online. The ones from Australia are actually a recast of Rick's PKD-2. There are also Toy versions out there that can be had cheaply when you can find them. Rich Coyle also made a simple "Stunt" kit at one time for around $100 (cheap for these replicas). Hopefully new versions of the gun will be made that will get closer to this goal, or just keep searching online and hope you get lucky. That is how I got most of mine. Patience and perseverance.

Good luck,
Andy
