i am planning on making a nostromo model and i would like to try some new techniques out so if you have any moulding techniques you would like to share please send

say if i wanted to make a mould of the rear thrusters or engines in general but any advice on ways you would build a part of the ship would be helpful for i have never atempted somthing this big before

I would check out www.smooth-on.com they have some great tutorials on molding and casting. also a good products.

Agreed, it's a good place to start, I learned alot from that site. Some of the tutorials were in video format too so you can watch them.
