I'm wondering if you could find A4 7 ring binders in China? Shame that you'll have to reduce the docs. Crying or Very sad

Sorry joberg , I tried all most all countries in my own search when I was doing the Whitefall files and could only track down Franklyn as still producing the leather ones and even then in short supply , a couple were synthetic, but were either very poor or very cheap, or both and would have been completely wrong for this ,I'm afraid .

Anyone got any recommendations for a suitable adhesive (that is available in the UK) to permanently attach the rubber to the leather? Because of all the holes in the rubber a spray adhesive might be best.

I've tried three and none of them worked.

Try 'Copydex', can't remember if it's a 'y' or an 'I' ,but it's a latex rubber cement comes with a brush applicator and is available in most DIY stores or Carpet shops , used to stick gripper-rod and the end's of carpets.

I had good results years ago with Thixofix. It's a contact adhesive, so you spread it on both surfaces, wait until it's almost dry, and then press together.

Going back to what you were saying about copyright... I think a lot of people get copyright mixed up with patents or trade marks. The difference is, to get copyright you don't have to do anything.

Simply by being the artist (author, composer, etc) you hold the copyright on that work until fifty years after you're dead. Wink

I don't think a contact cement will do as I really don't want to be applying it to the inside of the binder. Unless the glue dries completely clear and thin it will be visible in all the holes in the rubber.

I know that you automatically have copyright on something you make, but by registering it you have proof of it

Thanks Gaff.

This is just a quick mock up. I'll be ordering all the laminate and transparency supplies soon, then comes the laborious part of assembling it all.

I've got a few more little extras to go in there, plus I've made a whole bunch of new pages and photos.

Yes I agree , looks fantastic!, I see you've used a bit of artistic license with the Eagle badge swapping 'Repdetect" for 'Police' , a price would be nice, so we can all start saving our pennies !

I think that one is a Franklin Covey real leather binder.

No idea of price yet but I've already spent around $800 on this project!

I'm not surprised at the cost...when you calculate everything (hours, material, etc) it can amount to a lot real fast. But what can you do: quality=effort + sacrifice Wink

Some more new or updated file contents. I've now covered pretty much everything that Deckard mentions in the deleted scene voiceover. It's all in here plus a lot more! I've also added lots more BR graphics and other little touches here and there.

Thanks to Rick for allowing me to use his Zhora blaster and logo!
