Ok , here's my Sidkit build and conversion to a PFC firing gun ., its based on a 2006 Sidkit no 38 with my conversion donor gun replacing the gun frame, drum , barrel and inner grip it's based on the only commercially available .38 police Special that I could easily convert to a 'Bulldog' - I know it's not the right calibre - but you cannot buy a .44 PFC anywhere in the world , so it also has an mspaw Steel Sight rod and is forward venting which means you get a muzzle flash!! , (( please note this is based on a perfectly legal to buy, own and use PFC gun, so it complies with all the legal requirement of the UK act )) since it behaves and fires like a real one all the real rules apply . As soon as I can get it done a video of the gun working will be available .
here's the link - Andy can you oblige me again - I just can't get a single photo to load here.

For those eagle eyed ones out there there are several slight differences on this build , due to the fact that the Sidkit wasn't made to have a donor gun fitted , so I had to slightly widen or deform the Sidkit pieces to get them to fit the donor, that's why the fit of the grips and the end reciever bolt look slightly off , even saying that it was a good build and I and my customer am happy with the end result - I'm hoping to start another Sidkit soon , but first the Limited Edition !! |

It does look a little awkwardly fit and off in places, but it is still a great build. An interesting and appealing idea. I'm a big fan of the PFC guns as an alternative to owning a real steel firing blaster. I love my hartfords!
I'm always hoping that someone comes out with an airsoft or PFC charter arms bulldog. I tried to convince Kato and the guys from hartford to do it. No go. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

Yes you're right Noeland, it is off on places mainly as I explained, I had to alter it to make the donor fit - so it's not 100% . Again your right - no one makes a PFC Charter Arms .44 Bulldog - I had to go with a .38 version , and that means it's going to be a very limited edition of my full conversions as the manufacturer is ceasing production of that gun very shortly and after I made up a special firing cap that really sells the gun !! looks just like the movie!! a video is coming, as soon as I can get it organised. |
