Hi, excellent work on the props by the way - the ID particularly, an observation and a tip if I may,you did a good job removing the gold leaf on the Larchmont wallet , I suggest using a damp cloth and a warm , but quite hot, iron - should steam out the printing stamp when the wallet was originally made , a little leather softner wouldn't go a miss either ( you can get this at most shoe repair stores) just dab it on with a 'Q' tip and leave it a few minutes to work then at it with the iron. Just be careful with the heat setting , you want the water in the cloth to steam when you use the iron - you may have to do it a time or too - but it will come out , my best regards

Cheers all.

Thanks for the tips jonnyb, that will just top the wallet off nicely. I looked into getting City of New York and Dept added
to the seal and police already embossed on the wallet but couldnt find anyone to do it who didnt charge a fortune. As it wont be seen in the
case anyway, less is probably more.

Neil, the soylent green is 5cm x 5cm cut 3mm plywood. I cut around 30 pieces before it drove me mad. Sanded each one and the hand painted
both sides with a colour that i thought was highly appropriate,"Apple Crush" .Used double sided tape to piece them all together,
strong enough to hold but flexible enough to pull apart if needed.

Cheers steevy and thanks for the inspiration.

I didnt end up going with the fabric patches, too expensive. Instead found a guy who played around with the original images and made the badges into stickers instead.
After i had everything printed, realised that the layout of the card is actually different so just cut it up and placed the
parts on some white cardboard.

Here are some pics if anyone wants to capture them and have their own made.

I only had 10 sets made and as three are spoken for if

Sending off the sets tomorrow, if you want to modify the ID to my final version just cut out and place on the cardboard provided or you may like it as it is.

Great!I have an appropriate badge wallet picked out.I will probably modify the ID your way. That appears to be the proper layout,I don't think he is holding the wallet upside down.

I've just made this and thought I'd share it with everyone.

I found the original image on Screenused.com and made this.

"Sanitation" is a little blurry but hopefully it's ok.

I think the typeface on that poster is closer to Franklin Gothic - more like this:

You'll have to excuse my nitpick. I work with fonts so I can't help it.
