Hey, I did find out that the bed frame is a Frank Lloyd Wright piece.
Also, I have some more images of some apartment details.

Also, yes the 242 is in reference to Front 242. When I first started Dj-ing in NYC I played a lot of industrial stuff. I started working at the Limelight for their "Communion" night.

really nice stuff!!!
hey Precinct, is the Rhino in your cap a stand-alone piece or part of/an image on the paper/card behind it?

hey Rustyn242 - awesome shots ... and taste in music. 242 is my favorite all-time band! also a huge Ebbhead and Puppy fan too Andy (i'm lucky enough to have seen them all live). Its interesting how many of us have similar tastes in music too.

I wear my Blade runner T-shirts at industrial shows and often get told "it is my favorite movie" sometimes by the band.

If you watch that shot it appears to be a carving. That's my best guess anyway. They are quite common.

Something like this maybe?

you guys are amazing. right on Precinct - thanks for all the leg work to produce a current example. i wanted to make sure it wasn't a Mackintosh Rhino is all!

hey Andy - i grew up in the Orlando club scene in FL. my favorite underground industrial club always had BR running on a loop (video only obviously) to add atmosphere. i would smile as i watched how many people were transfixed on the monitors and nothing else. i was the guy telling the guy in the BR t-shirt how it was MY favorite movie. and you are right - the bands always give respect to BR. KMFDM were always playing BR in the background during their sets. Covenant has a track called "Replicant" an awesome bow to the film, and let's not forget Rob Zombie "More Human Than Human..."

Man, an old girlfriend of mine used to live down there, She also hung out with the Spooky Kids before they hit it big. Do you now a girl from down there named Heidi by any chance?

whoa - i knew a couple of Heidi's at the time ... very cool chicks! could very well be one of them. I hung out at the "Edge," and "Visage" (also a Meat Beat Manifesto regular) in Orlando, and the Cameo Theater in Miami for the occasional road trip (Tragedy For >You< Tour). small world!

Thought I would resurect this old thread since it was a favorite, and because I have been trying to get a bettter understanding of Deckard's apartment layout using the cut footage on the DVD sets. Also to help ID a few more props in his apartment. I have had some problems with the layout untill I realized they moved around the furniture and set props constantly depending on camera angle even. Props will also show up in other rooms confusing things even more. I did make a few more ID's and will post them as soon as I have items in hand.

Now I'm getting obsessed - as Rachael runs out of the apartment before the creepy seduction scene. You can catch a Chinese (or Japanese poster/ print by Deckard's front door.
Any art history majors in the forums?

This entire thread is gold worth !

I'll take in all to build a complete chapter of my project book of props! For sure! Very Happy

Seems like Frank Lloyd is present in every corner of Deckard's apartment (walls apart, of course). This means, if you wanna do a replica, boy, be ready to pay a lot!

Argyle chair and Mackintosh chair.... a litlle fortune to begin with... The piano itself... somebody knows brand of it? Can imagine a Petrof here... or better.... Razz

Let'go on! This thread is wonderfull!!!!

There is a company that repros chairs in the U.S. Here is there site:

http://www.cassina.com/

the Willow Chair:
http://www.cassina.com/ENG/CATALOGUE/CHAIRS_AND_LOUNGE_CHAIRS/PRODUCTS/WILLOW_1_312.ASPX

the Argyle Chair:
http://www.cassina.com/ENG/CATALOGUE/CHAIRS_AND_LOUNGE_CHAIRS/PRODUCTS/ARGYLE_302.ASPX

As for the bed:

It looks like it was part of the Coonley collection- you can see the similarities in the desk as with the headboard of the bed (the bed I posted earlier in this thread).

Down Under, these chairs go for can go for $1500+. Does anyone have
dimensions to the Argyle? I need an excuse to spend more time in the shed and this is it. Although my woodworking skills are questionable, Im
pretty sure I could at least put a display standard version together for less than an $100. BTW has anyone id`d the dining table?
