Saw this on ebay it struck me how similar this was to the Deckard whisky bottle, despite the age difference.
Holding 4 litres of vodka this would have definitely put a big grin on Deckards face......

The bottle was made by Bekman & Co in St Petersburg in the mid nineteenth century and is currently at $499 on ebay.

The item number is 390218551962

Wow! Cool find. What are the chances that both the main movie bottles are based on Russian Vodka bottles?

Thanks for that gents, I had to do a double take when I first saw the bottle, It's remarkably similar to Deckards bottle, a steampunk version of the world of 2019.
The design of this ancient Russian Bekman & Co bottle with those shoulders and hips ( not to sure if that is the correct terminology )? certainly seems the closest in design to the Deckard bottle I've seen so far ( could the Deckard bottle be a more recent limited edition version of the Bekman )? or possibly was the case that someone saw this original and was inspired by the look and decided to update the design to something more in keeping with the future tech noir feel of Blade runner?
like you say Andy it seems to make more sense that the bottle was more probably a vodka bottle and not whisky, found by a prop buyer as vodka tends to come in more elaborate glassware than whisky???
The mystery continues.

Lee.

Thanks for sharing...does belong into the BR World for sure.
I asked my source about the original bottles, but he couldn't give me any info about its story and where it came from Crying or Very sad
