I have his phone number. It was how I contacted him last. He had even received my emails but failed to reply because he was busy.

No excuse. I am busy too. I run my own business. However I find plenty of time to do the things I want to as most of us do. I have emailed and PM'd him on this board and the RPF. That's enough. He is aware of the situation.

Well, I just sent a PM via the RPF again with read receipt. If you have the time to visit the boards, you have the time to answer an urgent PM.

This is such bullshit. I want my property returned.

Sorry for the rant.

UPDATE: I just received an email from Michael saying that he will be sending it off today with tracking. I hope to see it next week.

While he is sorry about this and appreciates the loan of the badge, all I can say of the few times I have loaned things out I have gotten zip in return while the people I loaned items to now have castings.

I feel I won't be dealing with fans again for contracting out such work or promises of product in return.

I hope it gets resolved soon too. Some people have to learn that avoiding tough situations will only fester and make things worse.

The medallion arrived today.

Thank you Michael. Thank you also for the gift, but all I wanted was the medallion. I appreciate it however I would feel wrong accepting it. You came through in returning it and that is what mattered most to me.

Thank you again.
John

To my knowledge, the spinner plaque were NOT chrome plated, but covered in bare-metal metal foil, a auto-adhesive metal foil used in car modelling to reproduce chrome.

MY two cents Smile

I remember seeing an ad for that when it was new...it was years after BR.
