I'm interested, but only because I've yet to get Shawn's Nostromo pistol kit, or find out about it....do you happen to know if his kit comes with this, or whether it is needed as an extra to add onto it?
Thanks,
-SJ

Space Jockey,
Shawn's kit comes complete with upper and lower scopes. It's a beautiful kit!

Yep, it does. I'm selling this because I recently got the real deal. I know some people such as myself have older versions of Shawn's rexim that didn't come with this scope, so I figured I'd put it up for sale just in case.

Thanks Clutch; lets let andy go for it seeing as he is missing the top scope, I will go for Shawn's kit at a later date. Thank you.

Sold then. I have Shawns old Rexim made as a storm trooper sidearm and a singlepoint cast too, so this will work perfect.

Good catch, Andy !

All you'll have to do now is PM Shawn to get his Nostromo gun markings and you'll be ready to start work on this amazing kit !

It won't be as accurate as his new kit, but it will be a fun build to experiment with paint jobs none the less.

Yeah, I'm killing myself trying to decide if the Bob Burns gun was painted at a later date with the gold/green metallic paint.

A metallic gold/bronze was used to paint a bunch of the props and sets in Alien. Look at the thread about the rover, showing it both in white and gold/bronze metallic. Ridley seemed to like how it filmed, especially in the low light of the cargo hold and such.
