So I was in Barnes and Noble the other day, looking for a book in the film section, when I noticed a book called "Shot by Shot." I picked the book off the shelf and flipped it open right to some interesting looking story boards, which just so happened to be some (presumably) early panels for Blade Runner. They depicted a sequence in which a Fedora/Puffy collared trench wearing Deckard lands a police spinner in the country. He then enters a farm house where he retires a surprised replicant after which he removes the replicant's serial numbered jaw. Deckard then gets back in his spinner and flys off with a dog chasing and barking after the exiting spinner.

I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't get much time to examine the book. I'm curious if anyone else here is familiar with that particular story board sequence or if anyone happens to own the book.

regardless I thought it was pretty neat and next time I'm back at the book store I'll see if the book's worth picking up.

I'm pretty sure that part of that storyboard sequence appears in Future Noir. Also that had a few storyboards of the replicant's escape from the lunar body disposal facility if I recall.

Your both right. It is in Future Noir, at least the jaw removal board.
