The film 'Mute' that he had been talking about being inspired by BR as seen in some of the concept art as well, is being shelved for now to make a larger concept film that is in his words "an homage to Blade Runner". Mute instead may become a graphic novel first like Darren Aronofsky did with 'The Fountain'...

Cool! I hadn't seen this before. Did you notice that the tune playing in the background is "One more kiss dear" from the BR soundtrack?

Yep...he copied so much from BR it can only be considered an homage and solute to BR. I do wonder how he got the rights to that song though, having to deal with both Vangelis and the BR Partnership.. I figured the Ink Spots might have been easier to get the rights to at this point. I suppose Vangelis may have wanted to completely divorce himself from this one.
