The rear trigger on my stunt blaster got broken a while back. I decided to take a crack at fixing it, but when I inspected the damage, there was a huge air bubble on the inside of the trigger and the nub that was still attached. I figured with that big of a void, any glue job wouldn't have much strength, not to mention the broken bit was so small, and the cramped confines of the trigger guard, I didn't think I'd be able to get in there with a drill bit and mount a pin. So I decided to just remove the rest of the trigger and install a new one.
After removing the remains of the trigger and smoothing out the area, I mulled it over for a while and remembered that this was a hollow rotocasting. So I took a hacksaw to the barrel and took out about a half inch of it. Then I epoxied the front end to the now shortened rear section. Hello new snubby blaster. At that point knowing I'd have to do some filler work, I went ahead and ground down the buttplate into a finger relief version of it.
After the epoxy set in, I bondo'd the gaps in the barrel and filled in the remains of the magazine indentations.
Sorry bout the low rent cellphone pics, I'll snap some better ones when I get done with painting it.
Up next I'm going to have to make a casting of the rear trigger off my Coyle and hollow out the trigger well on the blaster to mount it. Depending on how well the recessing goes, I might just 86 the front trigger and replace that one as well.
Stay tuned. _________________

It'll be a little bit, Rich was kind enough to send me a trigger, so when it arrives, I'll move forward with this retrofit. _________________
