|
|
I finally bought a M2019C with the new upper receiver. It's really nice and I am happy with it, aside one thing: the gun was sold without bullets.
How can I purchase 5 dummy rounds that can fit the pistol?
I heard it's a .38, but would the bullets fit perfectly in the gun? And, moreover: where can I buy dummy rounds? I live in Italy and maybe it would be hard to import bullets (even if inert) from outside Europe.
thanks for any help! |

You can purchase dummy loads through Brownells.com. I picked up 5 dummy .44-40 rounds for $12.99 plus shipping. The cases are all painted black to reflect the fact they are dummies, but they are exact in every other way. I suspect you could probably strip the paint fairly easily if you wanted to.

This is their entire listing of dummy rounds. You can get 10 .38 Special rounds for $18.00 and they've got a number of other options as well. Hope this helps!

.357 fits as well, a little longer but same diameter so it will fit in the cylinder _________________ full tilt boogie baby

They have to be hollow points to fit, and still they may need the end filed down a bit.

thanks for the info.
Unluckily, the seller doesn't send items to Italy. I'm afraid this will be a problem almost everywhere: selling bullets (even fake ones) to foreign countries can be difficult, I think |

Maybe you should call a few gun shops in Italy and see if any of them can ship you dummy rounds or snap caps. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

.38 sp would be just fine. The .357 magnums may also fit, but may need the tips flattened down a little more. It looks like they have both sizes actually. Very fancy looking too. I say stick with the .38 sp, because I know they will fit, and you won't need to do anything that will ruin that fancy finish.
