Here's another model: a 1/28 scale Metrokab Sid Mead style...still lots to do, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel Wink

Here's the driver's seat and controls

The engine (outside of the cab)

Taking shape with the inside seating

The front with the roof on

Really nice work. There is so much talent here at Propsummit. The unit next to the driver's seat - is it scratch built or manufactured?

As you probably know Bwood, I'm a recycling guy; so every piece/greeblies/wiggets you see on my models are from all kind of objects that I gathered over the years...for example that engine contains:
1) Transversal tube in front: Mac lipstick from the G.F.
2) Piece under the tube: part of an old fax machine.
3) The various rectangular boxes are lids for Stanley blades
4) Electric wires.
Since I don't have a good pic of Sid Mead Metrokab in BR, artistic license have been taken by imagination

The "Recycled" parts really make fit the BR universe perfectly. Stephen Dane would be proud.

Yes, you catch the BR theme out of necessity, and that is wicked cool! Cool

Yep, that should not be a problem...it's just to find the right "platform" to put it on...maybe one day Wink

Thanks, but Sebastian's car is kind of the same in terms of design: forward cabin, side engine...but it's that curved roof that makes it difficult to build...maybe one day. Wink

Very nice. Assembly and graphics.

I always like seeing people do their own work.

Thanks SLK...but for the graphics you can thank Letraset circa 1980 Wink (I have an extensive collection dating back to 1977)...problem is that the older they are, the more fragile they become and sometimes the transfer of the font onto the surface becomes almost impossible; for the MetroKab for example, I created from scratch the checkered squares...during the transfer most of the black squares were breaking and falling appart. I had no need to try to reproduce the "used look": it was automatic

I just gotta get out of "the house" more often . . .

Just stumbled across this. NICE! Very "resourceful"! . . Smile

Of course (from our other discussions) I know what you mean about old LetraSet. Kinda surprised you got it to work as well as it did, but the resulting effect worked great.
