These are something that any Deckard style apartment must have in my opinion. Near his desk there seems to be two small ones that are similar to these antique ones here...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260245853466&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016

And a large stylized one is also seen that may be a modern artists take on the Buddha.

I recently Picked up a couple that were similar at Factory Card Outlet for 5$ and 8$ each.

The real things in the film...

The one on the left is still not the right style but the one on the right is pretty damn close. I need to work on the stands too. They are both repros and I got them for about $35 for both. There are more like it on ebay, but for a lot more and being sold outside the US by sellers with little to no feedback.

Before I was collecting the props from the movie I often bought stuff that just gave me the feel of the movie. I am still happy with all of that stuff too. Since these are pretty much one of a kind items(the originals) finding the perfect one would be almost impossible. So close enough is more than enough for now Wink

Since Im in Spain right now, I browse thru "weird" stores that might have some odd objects and I found the head to the left in three different colors today, the price tag on it read €30 and I will go back and see if I can haggle a little..

I guess they are pretty heavy ?

Edit 29/1

Visited the store again, the price I saw was wrong, it was + €100 and it they where not that heavy

Hey guys, I'm on vacation and came across these Buddha heads...can someone tell me if any of them are good to get?

These three (the last two pics are of the same statue, just different angle) are made of silver, but may be available in bronze in other shops.

I've used my lens hood and lens cap for scale in most of the pictures. The lens hood has a diameter of 85mm and the lens cap 75mm.

The heads in the very first pic are much larger, maybe 50% larger then the rest.

I'll be here for four more days so if any of these are good enough I can get a few for you guys.

But I only have very limited space to check stuff in so can only get a few.

A lot of these look quite good to me, at least the smaller and more patina'd ones. The ones with the ball like bun and the most pointed top on the head seem to be closest. Looks like they got them from the same place that made mine.

A few of them could be used for sure (the pointy heads are the closest).
