here is a decal you can use if you want the butplate of your BladeRunner Blaster to match the WorldCon 06 version (or just any scratched up butplate WITHOUT REALY scratching it up)

I hope I won't piss any one off, but I used the photos from here (Karl Tate's) to create this decal. ( SO lets NOT see it on EBAY - Just say'n)

To create a decal you need a graphic http://propsummit.com/upload/949/butplate_decal_final.jpg AND a inkjet or lazor printer, a "Custom Decal System" wich Testors just HAPPENS to sell,...

http://www.testors.com/product/0/9198/_/Custom_Decal_System

"Now it’s easy to produce your own quality decals with a PC and an ink jet printer. The new Testor Custom Decal Maker allows the model builder to produce high quality decals for any of their model projects. By using the included image database, modelers can choose anything from car flames and graphics to,...yada, yada, yada,...."

or have any of the decal makers on the web do it (JT Graphics comes to mind,... Testors costs $10.00 and has WAY more stuff than what you need to make this decal,.. so IF you screw it up ,... and I would know,.. you can try again. It's NOT very difficult. I have some Photos of the decal on an Offworld that has been modified.

http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0251.jpg

Speaking of which,.. After reading about people complaining how short the Off-world handle is,.. I bought a REALLY crappy cast of a Rick Ross PKD blaster.

I really like his design,.. just this cast of it required that I cut it up and replace a lot of the parts.

The handel grips were about the ONLY thing that was clean. So I thought, why not try and modify an Off-World handle with new larger grips.

It wasn't that hard and I think they came out ok.

So here are the things that were modified on these two Offworlds:

"So you want to be modified?"

2019 first version Off-World:

New Handle- this is a Slightly modified Rick Ross 1 rst PDK version

http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0267.jpg

(note; these are BOTH off-Worlds, this is so you can see the size difference)

added green LED to one end

http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0257.jpg

added "Sonic Shock Velocity Adjuster Set screws (Factory set , Re-adjustment Voids warranty) filed down a nut until it was round

http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0245.jpg

added the white LED wires to left side
(they show in the film when Batty pulls his hand threw the wall,..SO,..)
http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0259.jpg

Swapped the upper Receiver with the Styer-Puch one from Off-World
http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0285.jpg

added a Sidkit lower LED housing (bought it from kirtyboy, a plug for him)
http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0286.jpg

Also replaced the Rod on the left with a real Jewelers (my grandfathers) screw, my 10 year old broke and LOST it when him and his friends were field testing the blaster and weathering it. and just an fyi this version will hold up to a LOT of abuse. The C version,..NOT so much.

2019 C version:

A Sidkit butplate (also from Kirtyboy PLUG!)
http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0276.jpg

filed Adjuster Set screw nut down until it was round
http://propsummit.com/upload/949/img_0284.jpg

Rewired the LED with new brighter LEDs and changed it to a 12 volt battery. (only because I toasted the board trying to fix a bad connection)

The 2019 Off-world is configured to look like a "in- service issued Blaster" So it is over all flat black with gloss ammo housing and loading port.

If you are looking for an Off-World 2019 to modify I would suggest you try and find the older model as it is slightly sturdier in my opinion.

Also all of the plastic except trigger (white pvc) guard was molded in black plastic. The odd metal flake paint that is on it comes off if you scrub it down with a brillo-pad. Then you are left with the perfect semi gloss look for it with no paint to chip.

Sorry about being to much info. No choice pal.

Well, you're not slacking off when it comes to tutorials: love it to bits + great info and ways to transform already existing models to something better. Thanks for sharing Ocd!

You will probably get a better decal with the image all snazzed up like this:

Very cool idea!
It's something I had considered trying to do a few years ago, but never got past the wishful thinking stage.

The "cleaned up" image is great, too!
