Hi, i am just spraying a toy gun i am converting into a Blaster at the moment, just for the pure fun of it, and to improve my skills. The first one i did though, was absolute crap. I had no idea what i was doing, and i think is making me reluctant with touching my M2019C Off World, even though i have see how good they can look, as per photos on here.
It just made me think though, has anyone done a Blaster, or seen a Blaster, which was absolutely dogs bollocks?
I just ask to give me hope, that i am not the worst skilled person out there. _________________ He can breath okay, as long as no one unplugs him |

The second prop I ever built was a MiM recast of the... Hartford? It was a much less refined version of the Offworld cast in the softest, most bubble-prone black resin known to man. It had all the gun internals cast as parts, only they sheared as soon as they encountered any pressure.
And I had no idea what I was doing. I wish I still had pictures. |

Here's my first dabble into the "Ugly Blaster" forum .
Bought it more than 8 years ago at Frontiermodels. U.K. and it was a Wilco model that I transformed in my apt. with minimum tools/skills/room/money...etc.

I'll toss my hat in the ring...
Was searching eBay years ago and found a $100 BiN for one of the 12" Deckard figures AND a (finshed) PKD; had the spare cash so I grabbed it. Thought the triggers looked funky, but didn't realize why until I opened the box The best I can say about it is that the clear resin was very well cast, no bubbles and very clear
I've stripped about 95% of the paint off, and have some plans for it eventually....
I think someone mentioned this particular recast before, maybe andy in his timeline??
