There is a blaster with a very large price tag that is a "Richard Coyle/Sidkit that was used at some after party and may be one of the original props"

Just thought everyone would get a kick out of it. I had no idea Rich and Sid built a gun together that was used on the film and at a after party gala.

They only want $4,000 for it too.

Wow, what a deal.

It is accurate except the idea that it could have been an actual screen used prop. I guess by claiming the gun was found in an estate sale they could claim ignorance. The builder used Coyle parts to upgrade the old sidkit, so that part is correct. A few people were at the after party Gala, and I will check to see who went in costume. Of course that would wash off his claims of ignorance.

The price is about double what is should be, if not more, but people can try to get what ever they want as long as they don't lie about it in my book.

Agreed. The "kind of" lie is what makes him a scammer. Does not say it, just asks. Could it be???

The blaster was relisted yesterday. Seems it went for $1995 last time. I wonder what the circumstances were that made him relist... or he's just trying to scam again... The auction is starting at $699 this time.

I did a google search of the seller and found a cheesy video on youtube of a child and an adult, both dressed as Decker holding blasters. I'm assuming the adult is the seller holding the blaster in question.

I saw that the first listing ended with one bid by someone with a feedback rating of '8', meaning they may have never paid or backed out afterward. They may have even called them on their wording, which it seems has not changed, so I doubt it. I would say the price now is much closer to what it is worth, but it also has a reserve. I have a feeling this may sit out another round.
