Is this legit? They mention Propsummit and RPF

I suspect its Sid's old partner Michele who's offloading these.

I guess the problem any purchaser would have in acquiring these, is the fact that Sid used some of Rich Coyle's parts as his base for this model - which understandably caused a lot of well deserved unhappiness.

Ethics aside, this is an older model and not Sid's final WorldCon release. With the current batch of fantastic (more accurate) blasters available today, I'm not sure there's as much value in them as he feels there should be...

Best

I have no interest in purchasing the molds I was just curious. I have never seen any molds like this on eBay.

From the blacken pour points they look pretty burned out as well.

My 2 cents worth.

Wait for it! Somebody will buy them and start new runs, or somebody will pass the mold as "screen used" from the original BR movie Evil or Very Mad

There is enough stigma attached to these things now that not too many people will be willing to chance it. Like Rich said also, they are pretty used up and burned out. They are his older version too. These are almost worthless in my opinion, except for research purposes. A good prop maker will make several sets of molds, and usually just toss them out when done. It would be better for someone to make new molds off of one of his finished guns than use these, unless they are a complete newbie to this thing. I would be curious to see his molding technique, but I would pay much more than shipping costs for them. Good luck to anyone who buys these.

Well they will only have a copy of my OLD version 4 model.

And most likely these years old molds will just fall apart if used again.

I am hopeing some fan of Sid will buy them as a part of history.

I think you mean you would NOT pay more than the shipping costs.

You can see his mold making from the pictures.

Yes, I forgot the "n't" in there. Even then it is not worth that much to have to ship from Italy either.
