Yes Joberg, the bottles have actual liquid in them...vanilla extract to be exact! haha That's the closest I could think of color-wise next to real whiskey. I wouldn't want anyone cracking their bottle open for a drink! Though, I suppose you could always crack it open to do some baking if you're in a pinch.
