My Tsing-Tao Shotglasses are no longer lonely... 
Any more thoughts on that label?
My girlfriend suggested that perhaps they used a combination of languages
for the script much the same as they did for Gaff's "City-Speak". What do you think? |

Given what we know was done for a lot of the Japanese (back of the ID card, blimp signs), I'm inclined to think they just grabbed a square-ish chunk of script for the big label, and a line of script for the neck label.
Probably went looking through a book of calligraphy or alphabets or something...
...That's my guess.

Good job, once-bitten! I am jealous! Can't wait to see the finished product.
About the text... from what it looks like psudo-arabic for 'Coca Cola'. I can almost see "coca cola" on the main body, even tho it looks arabic. The writing on the neck... possibly just ripped from some random arabic bottle for the label. |

Hi Guys...
Been watching from the shadows for a few days. I just posted that bottle on Ebay and hope that it does well. We had an entire storage unit donated to our group last week and its my job to go through items that are donated, research and sell.
This unit was a bit different from anything that was ever given to us, among all the paraphernalia there was about 3 boxes full of old liquor. We hired a guy off of craigslist to move all the stuff and he kept on eyeballing the Smirnoff bottle.... I just thought he was a raging alcoholic He then offered me $20 for the bottle when there is only about a 1/4 of the vodka left. That gave me pause and decided to find out what was so desirable about the thing. Funny but I was raised on BR and never made a connection, you guys are such true fans.
Long story short I found wanted ads all over the Internet for this bottle and your forum sealed the deal. I looked in all the boxes for something that resembles the JW bottle but no luck there. Thanks to your diligence this bottle did not end up in the trash and hopefully we will make some money for the Autism group. |

Great to have you here, GREAT find you have there...I think after the last one, THIS one's gonna go through the ROOF and it's a great cause to boot!

The sip I had from the bottle I won was very good! It went right to my head...I would call it the Dom of Vodka, deep flavor.

I don't think I have the pallet for vodka, I'm to girly girly I'm afriad. I will leave a nice big portion of the Dom in the bottle for whomever wins.... I just hope I don't get kicked off of Ebay for it. |

Hey, I TRIED....what the heck did you bid on the thing, anyhow?
On the other hand, I got some ringy glasses for $20...is there supposed to be a holder for them too? If you hadn't bid up the bottle I'd have both by now...
