This is kind of close to what I had been envisioning for the Deckard's gun's function, and could explain a few things about our favorite gun...

TFS Andy...I had heard about that gun and it was interesting to see that Youtube doc looking into the engineering of that particular technology.
What scared me most is that it can be left alone on a battle field and fire at an incoming "ennemy". What if someone forget the weapon is there and still active ...a little bit like personnal mines, armies don't always keep accurate data as in where the mine field was laid. |
