I'm with Noeland on that one...movies are not easy to make and certainly trying to re-create a look that we know by heart is compounding the difficulties. It's only when you actually do it that you realize the complexities of the process |

Especially with student films! It takes a while to learn the craft. They should be encouraged for being able to put together a set, props, actors and something of a story and make it work at the level they are operating at.
It's always nice to see a new take on things.

100% agree. I remember re-enacting scenes from the Indiana Jones movies on video in our backyards, and animating my beloved Star Wars kenner figures... and it led me to my hobby as a serious animator. The age of the students made me smile, considering the film is older than they are.
