Hey all, I've pretty much been in lurk state forever, but propsummit has long been one of my favorite sites to visit. So I made a costume this year for my company Halloween party that I wanted to share. I spent the last month crunching on this, diving head first into something crazy I hadn't tried before, and I'm pretty happy with the results. Not sure if anyone here is familiar with, or cares about Warhammer 40K, Space Marines, or that sort of thing, but regardless, I thought I'd share as it was just an overwhelmingly positive building and community experience for me.

Happy Halloween all!

Waldo's for reference, he's 6'2"

I have a build thread on the rpf that's far too wordy, and yet to be updated with all the wip pics, but feel free to check it out:

I'm curious, where do your arms go in there? Do you hold them to the side so your elbows are inside the shoulders?

Hey Crowley,

My arms are actually inside the, well, arms. Very Happy

My hands are at the wrists of the suit. There are handles that I have built into the wrist so I can rotate the hands. I can raise the arms up and down, move them around, etc.
