I have not started anything yet but I was considering doing a gun and have the master 3D printed and offer it as a kit.

I know price is always a factor but at a best guess of maybe(don't quote me because I don't know at this time for sure) about $200.

Who would be up for that?

Is it a solid cast or are there parts to it?

ie rubber grips?

How does it differ from the previous offering?

You always do great work so I am interested as I am sure this will be great.

Parts for easier painting most likely.

Have not decided. Probably cost more.

I wasn't aware that anyone else offered one. I have seen a one but thought it was a one off.

Slow time of year, and also it was pointed out that our own Shawn Morgan (Morgan13) has been making them for a while now. You can see his in the DVD extras from the 25th anniversary set, when they talk to Gary Willoughby , and recently in the Adam Savage video. It is also on BRProps.com and Bladezone.com if you haven't seen them.

Can someone show a pic of this thing? I'm sure I have seen it but can't place it. I tried searching which I thought would be easy but have yet to find it.

Thanks

As the owner of one of MorganThirteen's incredible creations, I assume you refer to THIS Mead blaster (posted elsewhere, earlier on PS) -

As I recall he is working on a update to his earlier offering as well, but it's always interesting to see other interpretations. With the options of sound and lighting FX that are more available now, the various possibilities are interesting, so I think a kit that might allow some experimentation would be welcome. I know I would be interested.
