If there was a 'like' button on this forum I would press it for the last three posts.

Joberg:
You are welcome and can call me Tom, or TS.
I will try to add info when I can, when I feel it might help.
Mostly I want to send the credit where it belongs. There were a lot of artists working long, long hours on this and most of them got little or no credit due to a rule a Warner Bros.
Thanks Colin.

We know about you well Tom. There are a lot of graphic designers and artists here, and your work on the film has been discussed thoroughly here. I think at least one of the members here had contacted you years ago about your work on Deckard's police ID. You may be more admired here than Harrison Ford is for your work on the film. I hope you don't mind us picking your brain about the film and its production?

this is FASCINATING. Its is almost like The Apostle Paul dropping into your local church and joining the morning sermon. Very Cool to engage the very people responsible for the choice of employment some of us made after seeing this film so long ago... Cool

These shots of the Prius painted Seaside Blue seem to be very close to
what I remember the Spinners looking like. This is quite different from
the darker blue you see in much later versions of the Spinner. This is
also closer to the color on Syd's sketches.

Thanks Tom...we always asked ourselves what was the colour used on the Spinner (outside/inside) and according to the use of the car or even the model (built by Bill George and company) we arrive at different shades of blue...I don't know if the car hanging at the Sci-Fi Museum in Seattle is the right colour either Confused

Doing some research to start a Spinner model. Found this so I thought I would bump it up for any new info.

With a little colour correction the seats looked like antiqued brown to me?
