Fantastic work and for a first model this one rocks Cool . I love the way you used cardboard (one of my favorite medium) and the second life you give to found everyday objects is one of my main philosophy in terms of model/prop building.
Congrats Wink

Merci à toi Fred ! I agree with you Joberg , each time I have found an everyday object that could match approximately was a big day for me

It could be during a shower...

... or a meal

Excellent Fred Cool, we're seeing everyday objects in another light; thanks to my wife, she has learned not to throw her make-up cases, lipstick, little container of cream, etc ...and I'm not talking about my collection of different type of plastic tubes and straws!

I know what you mean...my answer to these moments of " what the heck am I gonna do with this" type of question is: thanks, it'll certainly help me in project X and then it goes right into the garbage .
Great job on the Nostromo, loving what you've done with the girl!

Oh my word, that is a superb model. Just watched the video etc and I'm so impressed with the attention to detail in creating the individual panels that make up the hull's various sections.

So what's next on your build list after this? Smile
