I'm quite sure this is a repost, but not everyone may have seen it.

TFS Robotprops...I hadn't seen those notes before.

And when you see where the production house was located it shows: "suite 666" Shocked Thank God, Ridley got that Director's cut out years later.

Jerry and Bud, of course, or as we all them The Blade Runner Partnership.

It is curious about the complaints about the voice over. I had thought that the voice overs were added by Yorkin & Company, not by Ridley.

I wish I could remember more about the pre-release screening of BR that I saw. Can't remember if it had the voice over. But I clearly remember that the film ended with the elevator door slamming shut and then directly to final credits. No "happy ending" driving shots.

Jerry seemed to be complaining about the Voice Over the most. Not so sure he and Bud were all that close, just business partners. Supposedly it was hard to get both of them to agree enough to do the 25th anniversary set. Nothing they say here seems any different than the stories told in Future Noir about them.

This is also a rough cut at this point, and likely a version of the Workprint. There was other voice over lines that were not used, as seen in the cut in the DVD set with all the outtakes by Charles de Lauzirika. Not sure which ones he may have been talking about, but a lot of this stuff may be from stuff that was changed for the final film in 82. Still, some of these criticisms are the same we hear now. It just isn't a movie for everybody.

I also am guessing that the A.L. initials stand for Alan Ladd Jr.
