There is a slightly off-topic but interesting thread on the ESPER over at the RPF. Not about the actual Esper prop, but what it was supposed to do.
I posted some info about the sequence I was able to dig up a while ago. Since I'm lazy and I actually have some work to do today, I'm going to post a link here instead of copying everything over -

PS - No, I don't have any idea where the Esper prop is. And I haven't come across any photos of it on set. Yet. |

Great info as usual Gene...I always loved the first set, a very good study of that set will show that it's copied along the Vermeer style of set-up, light, etc. (Vermeer, famous Dutch painter ).
The second set was more in tune with the general look of the movie (as you said, maybe Leon's apt).
Love the theory of Nexus 6 btw |
