|
|
Hey guys - I have the Tomenosuke Pro and have started looking at it and gingerly handling it.
I have not yet tried to force anything.
But I was wondering a few things.
1) does the steyr clip come out? if so how?
2) how do you flip the cylinder out?
3) does the steyr bolt lever lift up and pull back? (I only lifted it up a little as I did not want to force anything...)
Thanks very much!

Hi Todd and welcome to Propsummit As you can see by the other posts in this section, others have already dissected their kit (some more literally than others ).
I'm sure the specialists here are going to chime in and answer your questions...have fun |

1- Just pull down. it's built very well & you will not hurt any thing. It just clips in. you'll see.
2- There is a spring loaded release lever you put together. It's a bit tricky if the guide provided
w/ the kit is the same as the one on line? It's a little vague. but if you have some moderate
engineering skills? You should be able works it out. If you have trouble? shoot me a PM & post
you up a drawing that will clear up any questions you might have.
3- Yes. They are snug at first. what I suggest, it the area that makes the 90° turn on top of the
receiver. color it w/ a sharpy. then cycle the bolt. again you wont break anything. remove the
bolt & look at where the ink has scratched off. file that spot just a tiny bit & you're good to go.
You rubbing alcohol to wipe off the extra ink & you'll never know it was there.
good luck. _________________ Que la Force soit avec toi |

On the pre-built, to swing the cylinder out, just push the release (located just to the rear of the cylinder on the left side of the gun) forward while pulling down on the cylinder cover. It may be a bit stiff but once you've pushed the release far enough forward it'll swing out easily. |

Thanks for the information guys!
I really appreciate it. Mainly just didn't want to break this thing.
I also have the kit to put together, but I'm waiting on that until after I move and have time to figure out what finishing I want to do. |

The bolt lever, you can take it out from underneath the receiver guiding the lever through the slot. Rich coyle has a good pic of the area you need to file. I think its on the rpf thread. _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |
