Thanks a lot.

I'll just keep this thread for the amber grips for now.
We'll tackle the clear ones later.

Cheers,

Karl

I'm working on a movie at the moment, and then have a bunch of leatherwork to catch up on.
Then another movie starts in two weeks.

I am still planning to make these, yes.

It's simply a question of opportunity to do the work.

Spirit is willing, flesh is knackered Smile

Hi - I'm sure it's been discussed elsewhere, but how will your grips be different than the Tomenosuke Pro grips? If it's about the color, I'd be grateful for a link to the thread that discusses the topic.

Thanks!

It's about the colour.

The Pro grips are too yellow, mine will be amber.
That is as/when I get to finally make them. Work will not let up...

If you search you'll find the discussion.

Thanks Joberg,
It's been relentless recently.

Several movies one after another.

I hope to have some time soon to tackle the master models. That's the time consuming part.
I want to create new masters from scratch.

After that, moulding and producing casts is relatively fast.

No advance at the moment, sorry.

Work has been relentless. I worked all through the Christmas period.

If things don't let up in this first quarter, I may have to give up on this.
It's the chunk of time needed to make the new grip models....

"Replacement grips? Let me tell you about replacement grips..."

I can hear Leon saying these words as my dreams of getting replacements for my "piss yellow" ones dies a violent death.

Fingers crossed this isn't the case.

Ted.

Ted,

Real life often gets in the way of best laid plans.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

Time is the issue.
I don't have enough of it.

Last year was crazy busy and I'm already hip deep in producing a film shooting in April.

I don't know when I'm going to be able to get the new grip models done.

Thanks for the offer though.
If you have the skills, then I wouldn't be averse to handing the project off..

Hi Karl,

Thanks for keeping us updated.

Best of luck to you with all of your projects. Grips aside, I'm thrilled to hear that you have so many good things going on. The short film you shared with us here at the summit was brilliant.

Keep up the good work, wherever or whatever it is. And thanks for sharing some of it with us.

Ted.

Thanks Ted,

Glad you like the short.

We're planning a feature film to shoot in April. That's what's taking up most of my time at the moment.

Cheers,

Karl

Hi!
Is this project officially cancelled or is there still a possibility of fruition?

Always possible.

First I need to find the time to make the new models, then cast a set of grips to show.

Finance fell through and we never shot in April.
We are trying to shoot before the end of the year.

I would like to do the grip project, truly.

My life is far from simple Smile
