I have one on order.
I also have an unbuilt kit of the last version.

I'm thinking of bluing the kit receiver and swapping it out onto the built one that's coming. Are the receivers interchangeable?

Isn't that trigger guard kind of dark?

As I see this new finish job is idelized to some points, as most of Tomenosuke finished blasters are. I'm buying a kit and plan to do a movie accurate paintjob.

I am pretty sure all the Tomanosuke guns are made so that I you sand them down they will bring out a metallic finish. That way you can do any version of the gun you want, starting with the police version.

Those latest pics look like they are of the new retailer version, or very similar to it. Matt black finish to the receiver and the trigger guard apparently, and with a more orange/amber grip color as shown in the pics.
...Not too bad.
I still like it. Cool

Slightly worried. Don't wanna drop 900 bucks on something that doesn't look quite right finish-wise.

If the gun's finish doesn't suit you.... you will have no problems selling it later. All Tom-PROs have sold out in the past and pre-sold out this time round as well. There is always the secondary market and these always sell.
So... don't worry. Cool

Love the Cibi glass in the corner.

Grip color looks spot on.

To be absolutely honest, I really don't like the colour of the metal parts..... The grip colour looks great though

I don't care for it either. They look like charcoal grey plastic. What were they thinking? Confused
