Compared to places like facebook, I guess so. For us old farts that have been doing it for 20+ years, it is still a breeze Very Happy

How do you guys get your pics to show without links?

Love the picture of your Off World. Not a great blaster, but one that can be made to be pretty good...you proved it...

Sean, I edited your first post to show the image.

After you paste in your link to the photo, highlight it, then hit the Img button. Tags will appear on either side of the link.

Done.

Nice job...what type of paint did you use? I did some work on my Off World too..check.out my post " can real bulldog parts fit on an off world!?" I've also done more since then to age it etc...all in all, people bash the OW a lot but I have modified mine so much that I'm quite happy with it for a kick around / cosplay piece...I've got the weight up to almost 3 lbs and it has a lot of real gun parts on it. Keep working on yours my friend...I feel the more you work on it, the more you like it! Cheers!

Thanks darthwolf I'm going to keep messing with it . and bigger and better in the future.

sense this is the blade runner site. could someone tell me what the frame size is for a charter arms bulldog. and if possible the exact model and year and such. I'm thinking of getting my hands on one and collecting some good data...

You should go to Phil Steinschneider's page and RacProps pages...they are the definitive guides to BR gun advice and back history...the frame is a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog...the rest is all there on those two pages! Rich and Phil both put MANY years of research into the blaster and these blasters and all the info about them probably wouldn't be half as available or accurate as it is without them...

been to both I believe. don't remember mention of frame size. which can be confusing.you have medium frames but then you have frames in single letter sizes. and Iv'e looked on the net .CA bull dog .44 frame size I cant find..

You could always hit up Richard Coyle or look for the Tomenosuke specs online..though again, they may not have measurements?? The Off World is based on the .38 Detective Special not the .44 Bulldog so it is smaller than the hero prop and ultimately, the wrong size?! I have some Coyle frames here and they measure 4.5 inches long and2.25 inches high...dondon't know if that helps you at all but hopefully it answers your question...if not hit up Richard hrs very nice and usually willing to answer a question or two...cheers!

If you are looking to add some weight and realisim to your blaster, I highly suggest you add the metal frame kit from OW...and if you want, I have a few real .38 caliber parts for an OW upgrade that I might be willing to part with...grip frame, cylinder, swing arm, trigger, hammer, trigger springs, receiver latch and a bag of other small screws too...You will have to do some modifications to some of these pieces so you will need some tools snd some metal working knowledge...PM me for price...adding all of this to mine really made it closer to the real deal as far as feel and realism...

Here are the metal parts that I used in my blaster...I didn't use them all but a majority of them...I purchased the take down manual for the .38 detective special so I could see what parts go where. It was cheap on eBay... there are parts like these on eBay but I'll probably be cheaper than if you bought them all separately... cheers!

thanks everyone. and darthwolf7 I would love to get them parts from you. but I am neck deep in prop stuff for the next good month. and may have something really nice to show you all in the future. oh and the paint was krylon metallic silver. regular chrome paint just doesn't work worth a flip.
unless you have an air brush and some alclad chrome paint...
