Good rambling here Tim and Jens2133.
As the original story in BR, SRS love the fact that a human would clone himself (Tyrell was supposed to be a copy while the original was down below into the T-Pyramid in some kind of stasis) and rule over the Corp.

Who knows, Weyland might've done the same thing? Weland's relationship with Tyrell is also interesting (mentioned in Prometheus)...

"More Human than Human" is a motto that'll be interesting to see with David8. It'll all tie-up in a BR2 I'm sure Wink

Someone should make an in-universe novel out of that.

Brilliant! Didn't factor in the Mars equation or the possible BR 2 tie in.

Mars, what jurisdiction does that place fall under? Nice.

It didn't click with me in the new article when it mentioned BR 2 being scoped out at Fox Studio`s at the same time that an intentional melding could take place.
Forgot about the bonus in the Prometheus extras disc.....

Its funny, before Prometheus it was a case of how many Alien references there would be in the film, now with a second one on the way it could end up being a case of how many
BR references there are.

Hope the same people who put the Prometheus viral campaign together get the nod for another series of them as well.

Not sure if I remember this correctly, but the current International Space Treaty forbids nations to lay claim to territory in outer space.
Please correct me on this one.

Private persons (and, I guess, therefore companies) are under no restriction to exploit whatever body they choose to.

In my imagination, Martian and other settlements might be run by companies, such as the infamous Con-Amalgamate we hold in such dear memory. Laws could be company laws, and be enforced by private security. Maybe some governmental law enforcement agency (the real cops) have a foothold, too. Again, as seen in OUTLAND (yes, I really do fancy that movie).

This Alien/BR crossover is really fascinating. I hope they do follow that route.

I KNOW this is supposed to be a prequel, but does anyone know?
...Could that be yet another Ripley in the corridor?

The last film of the trilogy is supposed to directly tie in with the beginning of Alien, have absolutely no idea what he has in mind for this but another Ripley
in the mix works as well as anything I guess.

That's one sequel I wish was out tomorrow, Alien Isolation 2.

I know it borders on blasphemy, but while I am aware, I am not a gamer. I admire the course it's taken over the past decades, if only in the advancement of graphics and plot, but it too often seems the games outpace the movies that often inspire them.

Let's hope Sir Scott can improve from the last film, admittedly as visually stunning and beautifully crafted as it was.

Interesting the "Ripley" connection. TFS Tim; looking a lot like SRS for sure.

Like this newish picture for a couple of reasons, the controls look more tactile with buttons, switches and blinking lights. Highlights the fact that the Prometheus was the spaceship
version of the luxury yacht of a very rich man and the Covenant not so much.

First look at a possible replica as well. Looks like this one from a series of similar designs.
