Nice detailing joberg. looking great so far.

When do the fibre optics go in!!!

The illuminated bay looks great. Its all taking shape really quickly.

Thanks Colin...no fiber optic on that one, just a long outdoor Xmas light in the outer rim (you know to lit those more than 200 windows Confused ).
Going fast, but taking a little break...don't want to burn myself on that huge project.

Liking your detailing Joberg. Some good shapes you've got in there.

It will be interesting once the primer coat goes on and it becomes one.

Thanks Colin...I built the interior of the landing bay and then (if the #*& temperature wants to cooperate) it's off to the "paint-booth" (my breezeway in fact Very Happy )

Yes, the plug is painted (but not the interior because of the #$^*rain Evil or Very Mad )

Sorry for the lousy pic...I'll try to paint the interior and place it with the plug; will try to do a compare between the two plugs when done.

Thanks Starigger...you might suck at physical modeling, but I suck in 3-D rendering Wink ; as for the means, I'll try to maintain the budget at the $400 mark.

Thanks Colin...I elected to use plastic ties for the tension cables in keeping with the "artistic liberties" that were discussed before. Wink
I'm almost finished and then it's on to the tension units located at 4 spots on the modules.
