In a world where G.I. Joe never lost his 1/6 scale status by the 1980's, and in which Hasbro offered a licensed, Blade Runner Spinner for their 12" G.I. Joe with kung-fu grip, this is what I imagine could have been.

This is a Rhino 5 model. One day I will print and build a one-off for my collection. I hope you enjoy the images.

Thank you, R.A.M.!

It will take me a while to print all of the parts for this model, due to its size and overwhelming number of parts, but I have allowed myself the entire year of 2015 to get it done. I will post W.I.P. photos as I progress.

Rick

Thank you all for you kind remarks. I sincerely appreciate it. I look forward to getting started on the model in the new year. It will be fun, I imagine.

In the meantime, though, here's another "what could have been", in a multiverse world.

Bay City P. D. Detective Squad Special Unit Spinner

Superb!

Cant wait to see your finished model and the Gran Torino Spinner has made my day Rick. Cool

I`ve always wanted to do the Max Max Spinner, the black one but now the yellow one seems far more appropriate.

Great idea there Rick for the Starsky/ Hutch colour combo.

I'm happy to hear that the Bay City PD version is well liked. I've waited many years to realize it, even if it's only digital. It's been rattling around in my head for a while.

Thank you. Yes, I modeled it using Rhino 5 and rendered it in Flamingo 3. I highly recommend them.

Hey.... these Spinners are cool. The "Ferrari" Spinner is very pretty.
Would look the part in the old Black-White-Black LAPD police scheme maybe. Cool

Problem with black is that it's difficult to see in a BR World (mostly at night in the smog Confused ) That's why most of the vehicules were, somewhat, in a bright colour (blue Spinner, yellow cabs, red Alfa, yellowish Lobster Spinner, etc).
